With Luke as an older brother, it shouldn't come as a surprise that I grew up on a diet of sci-fi and big-screen action. Announcing April's movie releases for eVent cinemas' eVent TV is an absolute pleasure - the magic of cinema is never lost on me. From working on television and film sets as production assistant to co-producer, to working in front of the camera as an actress, model and presenter, I have a lot of respect for every role involved in creating the wonder of cinema.

This month at the movies we have a range of genres, from big-action blockbusters like Captain America: Civil War (which side will YOU be on?), to comedies like Melissa McCarthy's The Boss and a live-action retelling of The Jungle Book (wild screams from Amy). Grab your friends, your partner, somebody else's partner, and let yourself escape to another world!
